Forms of Google Earth — part I.

This project focuses on the satellite imagery giving by Google Earth software. We are in 2008 and Manhattan
is one the places where the picture resolution is the most precise. When the 3D function is activated, Google
Earth reveals an hybrid picture where photography is confronted with 3D material.

The following movie, which is also a trailer for my degree, is a first idea which consists in removing this imagery
from the idea of software.

I'm really keen on these odd landscapes generated by Google Earth and I decided to reconstruct this hybrid
picture in the real world, thanks to a foam model, in keeping the same approach than Google Earth 3D makers.

The publication which also contains the list of all the skyscrapers I've choose to reproduce, reveals the building
of the model from the beginning.
