From the train between Lyon and Valence, I see this white houses group, which immediately reminds
me cubist forms of Modern architecture. The contrast with the urban context is surprising.
I learn later that this project consists in a social housing estate which was built in 2010. During a meeting,
the architect of Bellevue II, Christian Blachot, give me a lot a drafts he did to conceive his project.
Then, in London, I have the opportunity to meet Richard Hollis, we talk about architecture and graphic
design for a while. Now I know that architecture and graphic design share some links.

Catelan is agree to work with me and give a nice answer to the commission I ask him. Black & white pictures,
geometrical shapes, he winks at Modernism…
Through a dialogue I had with C. Blachot, an arcticle about my meeting with R. Hollis, and photographs of
L. Catelan, the next publication spreads the whole inquiry about Bellevue II.
